Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jan David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Che Satomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Satomi has chosen Bad Boys as his entrance music. Che Satomi is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jan David!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Che Satomi!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
David lands with a right hand.
David waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Satomi.
Satomi keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from David.
Satomi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but David moves away.
David swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Satomi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
David lands with an overhand left.
Satomi tests David's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Satomi loads up on a big right hand but David slips the punch.
Satomi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but David avoids it really well and circles away.
Satomi lands a jab to the head.

David cracks Satomi with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Satomi misses with a looping right.
Satomi moves out of range as David strikes.

Satomi takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

David throws out a loose jab but Satomi uses good head movement to avoid it.

David throws a looping overhand right but Satomi ducks down to avoid it.

Jan David seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Satomi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Satomi thows a body shot but no joy.
Jab, jab by Satomi - just one landing.

David misses with a combination
and Satomi counters with a lovely straight right hand!

David is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Satomi drives through with a takedown into guard.
Satomi slips nicely into half guard.

Satomi is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Satomi is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. David doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Satomi.

Satomi is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, David has managed to free his arm - good work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Satomi is looking to take a break and control but David is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Satomi is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and David defends it well.
David is looking to control Satomi's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can David avoid being mounted?

Satomi works his foot free and advances to mount.
Satomi is looking to work his way around to David's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
David is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Satomi goes for an armbar but David turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from David.

David postures up in Satomi's guard and throws a big left but Satomi blocks it.
Satomi is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
David loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

David gets to his feet - Satomi follows without any prompting.
Satomi has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from David finds it's way round the side to connect with Satomi's head.
David keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

David throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Satomi sees it coming and avoids it easily.
David just misses with a punch to the body.
David tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Satomi was well out of range. Poor timing from David.

David misses with a looping left.
David thows a left - swing and a miss!

Satomi pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Satomi throws a jab but it's blocked by David.

David misses the shot to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jan David will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Satomi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from David.
David bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Satomi's head.

Satomi throws a combination. David tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

David fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Satomi on the side of the head.
Satomi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
David swings for the body but Satomi moves out of range.
Satomi scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Satomi misses with a wild body shot.
Satomi shoots in for a double leg but David sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Satomi swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by David.
David lands with a straight right. Satomi didn't see that one coming.
David connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Satomi's hands.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Satomi walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Satomi shoots in and bounces David off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Satomi seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Satomi wants to pass the guard but David is keeping the position.
Satomi looking to sit in guard and control but David gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jan David showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for David, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
