Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Petrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Biggs Wafers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wafers comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Stronger kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wafers displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Petrov.
Petrov shoots in looking for a takedown. Wafers tries to sprawl out of it but Petrov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wafers manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Petrov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Wafers moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Petrov walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Wafers scores with a one two! Petrov had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wafers got a little sloppy there for a moment and Petrov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wafers has managed to get both his arms back between Petrov's legs - danger averted.
