Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gregor Pawlak Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard Blackmore!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blackmore moves into the clinch successfully.
Pawlak Jr tries for a takedown. No joy.
Pawlak Jr gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Blackmore.
Pawlak Jr changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Blackmore fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Blackmore looks for a takedown but Pawlak Jr sprawls well.
Blackmore fails with the takedown.
Gregor Pawlak Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard Blackmore.

Blackmore moves into the clinch.
Pawlak Jr wants a takedown.

Blackmore jumps guard and drags Pawlak Jr to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Pawlak Jr is fighting to break Blackmore's control of his arms but Blackmore is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Pawlak Jr stops Blackmore from standing up.
Pawlak Jr has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Pawlak Jr trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blackmore is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Blackmore is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pawlak Jr pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Blackmore is keeping the position for now.

Pawlak Jr avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Pawlak Jr is breathing heavily.
Blackmore wants to stand but Pawlak Jr is controlling the position.

Pawlak Jr got a little sloppy there for a moment and Blackmore has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pawlak Jr has managed to get both his arms back between Blackmore's legs - danger averted.

Pawlak Jr drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Blackmore dives on top into guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Blackmore stands up over Pawlak Jr, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Blackmore sitting in guard here, content to control.
Blackmore working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Pawlak Jr's head.
Blackmore trying to control but Pawlak Jr is working from the bottom.

Pawlak Jr is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Pawlak Jr knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Blackmore on the ground.
Blackmore sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pawlak Jr's guard.
Pawlak Jr on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Blackmore takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Blackmore trying to control the action but Pawlak Jr is working from the bottom.

Blackmore seems to be looking for submissions.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pawlak Jr is pressing down on Blackmore's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Pawlak Jr working for a triangle but Blackmore defends it easily.
Pawlak Jr keeping moving, preventing Blackmore from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blackmore stands up over Pawlak Jr, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Blackmore drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Blackmore seems to have locked his on tight now - Pawlak Jr screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Blackmore, as he picks up the win!
