The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lennox stuffs the takedown attempt from Whitewash. Whitewash gets slowly back to his feet.
Lennox is looking to clinch.
Lennox avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lennox moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Whitewash tries for a takedown but Lennox sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Whitewash fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Bobby Lennox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Whitewash.
Whitewash looks for a takedown but Lennox sprawls well.
Lennox clobbers Whitewash with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Lennox throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lennox tries to close the distance and clinch but Whitewash swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Whitewash closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lennox manages to get to full guard.

Whitewash looking to improve position, pressing down on Lennox's thigh with his hand. Lennox seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Whitewash paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Whitewash's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Lennox picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
