Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ren Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Havvik Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Wu-Tang Clan - Protect Ya Neck. Brown comes into a darkened arena with his song building. UGK - Murder kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Gracie drops back, looking for a kneebar! Brown looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Brown looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Brown!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That was a close round but I would say that Ren Gracie will probably get the nod.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gracie has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gracie and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
