Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sam Uri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Zamarano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zamarano defending well as Uri loads up on a big left hand.
Uri just misses with a punch to the body.
Zamarano misses with a wild combination.
Uri misses with a body shot.
Uri digs a good hook to Zamarano's body.
The fighters circling - Uri throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Uri misses with a looping left.

Zamarano rushes Uri and presses him up against the cage.

Uri is looking to break free of the clinch but Zamarano has double underhooks.
Zamarano tries for a takedown but Uri manages to get underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zamarano's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Zamarano looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Uri thows a body shot but no joy.
Uri misses with a hook.

Uri lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Zamarano looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Uri is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Zamarano frees his head nicely. Oh but Uri has switched to an armbar! Zamarano is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
