Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ed Motta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Teixeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Teixeira has chosen Eu quero ver o oco - Ramundos as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ed Motta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Felipe Teixeira!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Motta closes the distance and clinches.

Teixeira gets control of Motta's arms and successfully pulls guard. Teixeira will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Teixeira looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Motta wants to stand and escape but instead Teixeira has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Teixeira is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Motta is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Motta has escaped and now he's on top!

Teixeira wants to sweep here but Motta controlling him for the moment.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Motta wants to stand but Teixeira is controlling his posture from full guard.
Teixeira trying to keep a closed guard but Motta is proving a slippery customer.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Teixeira tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Motta pushing down on Teixeira's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Teixeira gets full guard.
Teixeira controls Motta momentarily but Motta frees himself.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Teixeira is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ed Motta will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Motta connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

It looks like Felipe Teixeira has been cut.
Motta moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Motta lands a big right hand that sends Teixeira crashing to the mat! Motta stays standing though and waves Teixeira back to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Motta ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Teixeira's jaw. Teixeira's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Motta does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
