Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kent Hytten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and NoSkills Man Choi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hytten kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Wait and Bleed. Man Choi has chosen i wanna know what love is as his entrance music. Kent Hytten has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, NoSkills Man Choi!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Hytten.
Hytten lands with an uppercut that bounces Man Choi off the cage and back into rage.
Man Choi takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Hytten ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Man Choi moves away.
Hytten uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Man Choi.
Hytten scores with a kick to the midsection.
Man Choi looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Man Choi moves in looking to clinch but Hytten pushes him off.
A punch combination from Hytten misses.
Hytten throws a nice looking combination but Man Choi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Some bone on bone action there as Man Choi checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Hytten misses with a head kick.
Hytten throws a head kick that misses.

Hytten lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
A nice leg kick lands there from Hytten.
Hytten is looking to slow Man Choi down with leg kicks.
Hytten pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kent Hytten is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hytten throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Man Choi.
Hytten swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hytten throws a head kick that misses.
Man Choi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hytten throws a sloppy head kick and Man Choi moves out of range easily.

A right-left combo lands from Hytten.
Man Choi moves away from the strike by Hytten.

Man Choi looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Man Choi preventing the sweep.
Man Choi slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Hytten wants to get back to his feet but Man Choi is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Hytten had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Man Choi is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hytten Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Man Choi's back instead.
Hytten trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hytten throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
Good control from Hytten.
Man Choi is trying to escape under a series of strikes and manages to escape from Hytten 's hooks.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hytten controlling the pace for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Hytten throws a series of strikes that have Man Choi backpedaling.
Man Choi looks to score with a jab to the body but Hytten is just out of range.
Hytten throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Hytten misses with the combination.
A slow jab from Hytten misses its intended target.
Hytten tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Hytten throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Kent Hytten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Man Choi gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Hytten tries to break free but Man Choi pushes him back against the cage.
Hytten with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Hytten breaks the clinch.
Hytten swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Hytten here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Hytten misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Man Choi dodges the punch combination from Hytten.
Hytten throws a body punch but Man Choi moves out of range.
A combination from Hytten does no damage.
Hytten lands with a thumping leg kick.
Hytten misses with an uppercut. Man Choi saw that one coming.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hytten throws a jab but it's blocked by Man Choi.

Man Choi drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Hytten sneaks back into half guard.
Hytten is trying to get back to full guard.
Man Choi looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hytten wants to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hytten is doing well to control the position and prevent Man Choi from advancing to side control.
Hytten manages to get to full guard.
Hytten controls Man Choi momentarily but Man Choi frees himself.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Hytten wants to sweep but no luck.

Hytten looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hytten is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kent Hytten dominated that second round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Man Choi throws a jab when Hytten was well out of range.
Hytten lands with a kick to the temple. Man Choi shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Man Choi takes a swing at Hytten's ribcage but misses.
Man Choi has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Hytten.
Hytten attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Kent Hytten is winning the standup battle so far.
Man Choi takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A lazy left from Hytten finds it's target.

Hytten lands a big head kick that sends Man Choi tumbling to the mat! Hytten takes a step backwards and waves Man Choi back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Man Choi is rocked!
Man Choi takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Hytten throws a series of punches but Man Choi avoids them all with ease.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Man Choi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hytten can pounce on him.

Hytten cracks Man Choi with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hytten has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Man Choi to stand back up!
Man Choi is still on wobbly legs! Can Hytten finish him?
Hytten misses with the combination.
Man Choi seems to have recovered his senses.
Man Choi throws a predictable looking body shot

and Hytten counters with a head kick that drops Man Choi to the mat! Man Choi scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Man Choi drops his hands momentarily and Hytten needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Man Choi just on the top of the head. Man Choi drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Man Choi - he's done!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Kent Hytten!
