Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bungo Kumbas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimmy Sanchez is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Sanchez!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Kumbas counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Sanchez moves forwards but Kumbas connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sanchez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kumbas sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sanchez somewhat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kumbas stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Kumbas is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Sanchez misses with a takedown
and Kumbas cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Sanchez tries to close the distance and clinch but Kumbas swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Kumbas shoots in looking for a takedown. Sanchez tries to sprawl out of it but Kumbas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sanchez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kumbas, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
