Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stan Stewert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timo Kuikka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stan Stewert!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Timo Kuikka!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuikka gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Stewert to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Kuikka looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Kuikka is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Stewert not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Kuikka working a defensive guard here.
Stewert controls from within his opponent's guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Kuikka is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Kuikka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stewert. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stewert controls from within his opponent's guard.
Stewert wants to control from the top but Kuikka keeps moving.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Stan Stewert just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Stewert turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kuikka is trying to get back to half guard.
Stewert is working to tighten is grip on Kuikka's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Kuikka has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Stewert is really squeezing tight and eventually Kuikka passes out! Stewert breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
