Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lennar Lehestik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Itachi Kowashaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Itachi Kowashaki has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Lennar Lehestik's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lennar Lehestik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Itachi Kowashaki!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lehestik shoots in and drives through. Kowashaki sprawls well.
Kowashaki looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

and Lehestik counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Lehestik tries to score a body lock takedown but Kowashaki shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Kowashaki throws an elbow that misses.

Lehestik breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kowashaki shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

so Lehestik counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Lehestik is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Kowashaki is looking for a sweep.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lehestik is looking to take a break and control but Kowashaki is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lehestik cracks Kowashaki with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Lehestik takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Lehestik won't let Kowashaki get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Lehestik is landing with some decent strikes but Kowashaki is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Lehestik seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kowashaki for as long as he can get away with.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Lehestik wants to finish this one by submission but Kowashaki is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Lehestik.

Lehestik jumps guard but Kowashaki stands there with Lehestik around his waist. Lehestik gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Kowashaki throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Lehestik blocks it with crossed arms.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lehestik shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kowashaki's guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lehestik shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Lehestik was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Lehestik keeps control of Kowashaki as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Kowashaki drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lehestik gets the underhooks and prevents it.

A left hand lands to the body for Lehestik.
Lehestik has Kowashaki pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kowashaki manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kowashaki looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Kowashaki tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Kowashaki has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Lehestik works to full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lehestik manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kowashaki manages to get himself to full guard.
Itachi Kowashaki has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

I think Lehestik has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
