Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keemo Jakkar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leroy Lombardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lombardo stalks Jakkar and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jakkar's face. Jakkar staggers backwards, shaken.
Lombardo throws a right and a left that both miss.
Leroy Lombardo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jakkar throws a head kick that misses.

Jakkar working over Lombardo with some ground and pound. Lombardo looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Lombardo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jakkar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jakkar throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Lombardo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jakkar is working away from the top position though.
Jakkar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jakkar is trying to control the action in half guard but Lombardo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Lombardo wants to improve his position but Jakkar is controlling well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jakkar is nestled in close to Lombardo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Jakkar is thwarting Lombardo's attempts to control the position.

Lombardo is pressed up against the ropes. Jakkar has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lombardo down to the mat. Lombardo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Jakkar is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Lombardo can't fight it off and eventually Jakkar manages to take the fight to the floor. Lombardo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Lombardo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jakkar!

Lombardo tries to control but Jakkar wriggling away.
Jakkar sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jakkar is trying to control but can't.

The fight stays on the outside here - Jakkar looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jakkar walks into a left hand.
Jakkar walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Lombardo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Jakkar lands a big head kick that sends Lombardo tumbling to the mat! Jakkar takes a step backwards and waves Lombardo back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Jakkar throws a head kick that misses.

Lombardo seems to have recovered his senses.

Jakkar dips to his left and cracks Lombardo with an uppercut!
