Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between TJ LaRussa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devin Roundhouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roundhouse has chosen Good Girls Gone Bad by Cobra Starship as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, TJ LaRussa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Devin Roundhouse!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaRussa swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
LaRussa misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
LaRussa swings and misses with a hook to the body.
LaRussa tries to clinch up but Roundhouse circles away and keeps his distance.
Roundhouse throws a looping overhand right but LaRussa ducks down to avoid it.
Roundhouse shoots for a double leg takedown but LaRussa sprawls well. He's pushed Roundhouse's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Roundhouse throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around LaRussa's waist but LaRussa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Roundhouse off to one side.
LaRussa tries to clinch up but Roundhouse circles away and keeps his distance.
Roundhouse changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. LaRussa looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
LaRussa is not content to let Roundhouse control the position.

Roundhouse's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
LaRussa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Roundhouse on the ground.
LaRussa is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Roundhouse throws a strike aimed at the side of LaRussa's head but LaRussa avoids it well.
Roundhouse lands a decent elbow from side control.
Roundhouse is staying tight to LaRussa's torso, preventing him from escaping.

LaRussa manages to work his way to half guard, despite Roundhouse's best efforts.
Roundhouse lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Roundhouse is controlling the pace.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
LaRussa tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

LaRussa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Roundhouse takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
LaRussa tries to roll over but Roundhouse keeps him under control.

LaRussa is looking to improve his position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Roundhouse trying to control the action but LaRussa is working from the bottom.
Despite being in the dominant position, Devin Roundhouse just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Roundhouse tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
LaRussa misses with a looping right.
Roundhouse throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent LaRussa stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
LaRussa is breathing heavily.
Roundhouse fakes high and swings low for a body shot but LaRussa manages to avoid it.
LaRussa misses with a shot to the body
and Roundhouse counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps LaRussa thinking.
Roundhouse throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Roundhouse missing with a left hand there. LaRussa was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
LaRussa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Roundhouse feints and as LaRussa raises his hands in defense, Roundhouse changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Roundhouse is in close to LaRussa's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
LaRussa on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Roundhouse wants to lay and pray for a moment but LaRussa keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Devin Roundhouse dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Roundhouse lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
LaRussa shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Roundhouse as he avoids it easily.
The fighters circle momentarily. Roundhouse darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
LaRussa is rocked!
LaRussa switches off momentarily and Roundhouse cracks him with a monster right hand! LaRussa topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Roundhouse dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Roundhouse!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Devin Roundhouse!
