Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bahnie Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted Knot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mac comes to the cage accompanied by Ill Bill - War Is My Destiny (Feat Immortal Technique & Max Cavalera). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knot pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Knot closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mac circles away. Knot tries to clinch there but Mac circles away.
Knot tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mac swivels and escapes. Mac throws a sloppy head kick and Knot moves out of range easily. Mac pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ted Knot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Knot avoids the head kick by Mac.
Knot buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Knot looks to land a body kick but Mac moved away. Knot gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Mac trying to control but Knot is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knot is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Mac really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Mac looking to sit in guard and control but Knot gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Mac manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Knot tries to lock up and control but Mac gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Mac is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Knot can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Knot keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mac working for a submission but Knot is keeping him at bay. Mac with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
You get the feeling that Knot really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Knot defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Mac. Mac is breathing heavily. Knot is trying to escape the mount.
Mac wants to take Knot's back here but Knot is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Knot regains half guard. Mac is thwarting Knot's attempts to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Knot is trying to stand back up but Mac is controlling him
Mac seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Knot does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Knot blocking the ground and pound attempt from Mac. Mac is looking to advance position but Knot won't allow it. Knot is trying to get back to full guard. Mac prevents Knot from standing back up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Mac is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Knot is just riding it out for now. Mac eventually gives up the hold. Knot keeps control of the position for the meantime. Mac is looking for a kimura but Knot is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mac to get the leverage. Knot really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mac. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Knot pushes Mac off and gets back to his feet. Knot feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Mac will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Mac keeping moving, preventing Knot from controlling successfully. Mac manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Knot manages to get himself to full guard.

Mac stands and throws Knot's legs to the side, diving into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bahnie Mac dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Mac looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Mac changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Knot looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Knot is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Mac's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Knot is staying active underneath Mac, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Mac prevents Knot from standing back up.
Knot with the active half guard here but Mac passes nicely into side control. Knot is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Mac off and has taken his back! I really don't envy Mac right now.

That's one minute gone in the round. Mac tries to escape but Knot has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Knot gets his hands free as Mac looks to control. Knot keeps control of the position easily here as Mac tries to buck him off.
Knot is breathing heavily. Mac rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Knot working Mac over with strikes. Mac looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Mac slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Mac working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Knot doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Knot manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Knot trying to control the position from guard on top but Mac is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mac working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Knot has passed into half guard!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mac regains full guard. Nicely done. Knot avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Mac is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Mac manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Knot defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Mac's arms. Mac wants to control but Knot is keeping busy. Mac is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Knot has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Knot trying to control but not successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Knot defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Mac's arms. Mac is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Mac trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

Mac working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Bahnie Mac overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Mac is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Knot with him. Knot is trying to defend but Mac has an arm under the chin now! Knot grimaces and is forced to tap out!
