The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Jong misses with a body kick.
De Jong defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Masuka.
De Jong throws the kick towards the body but Masuka avoids it.
A clash of legs there as Masuka blocks the low kick.
De Jong tries to land a front kick but Masuka steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
