Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Barricho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalava Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunt has chosen BOO YA as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Barricho.
Barricho misses with a takedown attempt - Hunt sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Hunt feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Barricho sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Hunt might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Barricho kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Barricho is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hunt defends well.
Hunt wants to get up but he can't break Barricho's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
