Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Job (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geison Horz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Job comes to the ring accompanied by I'm On a Mac. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Job!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Geison Horz!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horz has a takedown stuffed.
Horz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Job is fending him off so far but Horz persists. Nope, Job circles away and we're back to standing.
Steve Job seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Job throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Horz was covering up waiting for the punch and Job finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Job landing some decent shots from guard.
Job trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Job stays in close to Horz's body and controls the position.

Horz wants to get back to his feet but Job passes into half guard.

Job uses his free foot to push down on Horz's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Horz.

Job goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Horz is on top in guard.

Horz would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Horz looks gassed!
Job bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Horz's guard.
Job forces his way into half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Horz wants to control but Job is keeping busy.

Job is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Horz still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Horz has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Horz has his takedown stuffed

and Job counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Horz wants to get back to his feet.

Job is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Horz defends it well.

Job looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Job tries to pass the half guard into mount. Horz knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Horz on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Horz is looking for a sweep. Job is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Horz looks like he's trying to stand up.
Job missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Job lands with a punch from half guard.
Job performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Job is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Job throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Horz is pressing down on Job's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Horz is trying to control the position but Job postures up.
Horz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Job drops back looking for a leg! Horz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Horz manages to kick Job off! Job jumps back into Horz's guard.

Horz is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Job is aware though and is defending well.
Job loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Job throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Job shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Horz is trying to defend but Job finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Job tries to land a front kick but Horz steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Horz fails with the takedown

and Job counters with a takedown into side control.
Horz wants to control but Job postures up.
Job advances nicely into full mount.

Job working for a submission but Horz is keeping him at bay.
Job with shots to the head and body - Horz looks very uncomfortable down there.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Job goes for an armbar but Horz turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Horz.
Horz won't allow Job to sweep him here.

Horz would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Job is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Horz defends well.
Horz works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Horz trying to mount his opponent but Job defends it.
Job regains full guard. Nicely done.
Horz postures up in Job's guard and throws a big left but Job blocks it.
Job seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Job has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Horz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Horz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Job. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Horz tries to improve position but can't.
Job wants to lay and pray for a moment but Horz keeps working.
Horz is trying to improve his position.
Horz wants to get back to his feet but Job drags him back down.
Job lands some shots froms side control.
Job landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Horz is trying to control Job's posture but Job avoids it.
Job in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Horz takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.
Horz wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.

Job has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Horz is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Job yanks on the arm and Horz is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Job.
