The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Power throws out the jab.
Power really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Sanchez might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Power kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Sanchez can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Power is looking to escape.

Sanchez goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Power is on top in guard.
Power wants to get up but he can't break Sanchez's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Sanchez shoots for a double leg takedown but Power sprawls well. He's pushed Sanchez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
