Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aston Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Jonas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Aston Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Jonas!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonas goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Jonas shoots in looking for a takedown. Gracie tries to sprawl out of it but Jonas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gracie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gracie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Jonas counters with a head kick. That will keep Gracie thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

and Gracie decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jonas's guard.
Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie is working hard here to advance position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Jonas counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Jonas is trying to control. Gracie wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Jonas drops an elbow to the side of Gracie's head.
Jonas seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gracie does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Gracie is not content to let Jonas control the position.
Jonas is taking a breather. Gracie says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Gracie wants to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jonas is keen to just control but Gracie is a slippery customer.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Gracie manages to get to full guard.
Gracie is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Jonas frees his head nicely. Oh but Gracie has switched to an armbar! Jonas is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
