Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris Knox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Whitey Star! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knox misses with a low kick.
Star is looking to clinch but Knox is avoiding it.
Star changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Knox tries to avoid it but Star manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Knox to the ground. Knox escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Knox fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Star checks it well. Knox throws out a loose jab but Star uses good head movement to avoid it. Knox misses with a few strikes there.
Knox shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Knox showed some decent athleticism there. Knox sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Star defending well though. Knox is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Knox decides to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Star throws a quick inside leg kick. Star tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Star with a lazy takedown attempt and Knox counters with a shoot takedown. Star fights it but they end up in guard. Star keeping full guard, as Knox tries to pass. Star wants to sweep but no luck. Knox trying to stand up but can't free himself from Star's guard. Knox knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Star on the ground. Star is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Knox has his hands clasped together but Star extends an breaks Knox's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Star.
