The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pulli tries to clinch there but Lee circles away.

Pulli closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Pulli working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Lee wants to control but Pulli postures up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lee sneaks back into half guard.
Pulli works his way into side control.

Pulli is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lee knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pulli is breathing heavily.

Pulli tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Lee is trying to get back to half guard.
Pulli wants to control but Lee is keeping him busy.

You can see the frustration on Lee's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Pulli throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lee sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lee shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pulli but Pulli pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Pulli shoots in and drives through. Lee sprawls well.

and Lee counters with a right hand to the body.

Lee instigates a clinch.

Pulli has picked Lee up - he's going for a ride! Pulli dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Pulli keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pulli. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pulli is nestled in close to Lee, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Pulli lands a nice short elbow.
Lee is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Pulli scores with a couple of nice shots.

Lee is rocked!

Pulli looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Pulli lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Lee is still in real trouble! Can Pulli finish him?
Pulli uses his free foot to push down on Lee's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lee.
Lee seems to have recovered his senses.

Pulli has isolated one of Lee's arms. Lee looking to fight him off but Pulli twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
