The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
TW shoots in for a takedown but Shawn shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
TW shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Shawn defends it nicely.
TW wants to clinch.

Shawn stuns TW with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from TW is defended easily by Shawn.
TW shoots in looking for a takedown. Shawn tries to sprawl out of it but TW keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Shawn manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Shawn leaves TW with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
TW dives in and grabs Shawn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Shawn pushes down on TW's head and hops out.

TW takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Shawn gets a clinch.
TW jumps guard but Shawn stands there with TW around his waist. TW gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Shawn scores with a nice hook to the head.

Shawn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
TW looks to clinch
and Shawn counters with a nice low kick that buckles TW's knee momentarily.

and Shawn counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Shawn lands a nice looking body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Shawn moves into range and clinches up with TW.
Shawn lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt TW or not.
Shawn's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
TW seems to be working for a kimura but Shawn defends the submission attempt.

Loka Shawn dominated that round.

Shawn is working an open guard so TW takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

and Shawn counters with a one-two to the body.

TW takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Shawn catches TW with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Loka Shawn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
TW shoots in for a double leg but Shawn sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Shawn is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down TW rather than just go for the knockout.
TW takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Henri TW is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
TW takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Shawn scores with a push kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Shawn throws a nice inside leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
TW has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Shawn finds it's way round the side to connect with TW's head.
Shawn scores with a one two! TW had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Shawn lands a brutal head kick. TW looks out on his feet and Shawn throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
