Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between DK Oakston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Burat Puke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Oakston goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Puke is on top in guard.
Puke stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oakston swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Puke shoots in looking for a takedown. Oakston tries to sprawl out of it but Puke keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Oakston manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Puke is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Oakston can't fight it off and eventually Puke manages to take the fight to the floor. Oakston looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that DK Oakston will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

A slapping body kick lands there for Oakston.
Oakston stuffs the takedown attempt from Puke. Puke gets slowly back to his feet.
Puke shoots in for a double leg but Oakston sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
