Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evander Hollyfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Howard Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Evander Hollyfield has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones circles away from the clinch attempt.

Jones throws and elbow that misses. Hollyfield uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jones's guard. Nice move by Hollyfield!
Hollyfield wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.
Jones looks gassed!

The referee stands the fighters back up. Evander Hollyfield just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

and Jones counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Hollyfield bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard.
Hollyfield stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jones throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hollyfield was covering up waiting for the punch and Jones finishes the takedown easily into guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Evander Hollyfield will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Evander Hollyfield.
