Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Temille (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Zane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Temille comes into the arena with Blazin blaring out of the sound system. Zane is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Notorious B.I.G. ft. Bone Thugs N Harmony - Notorious Thugz. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Reed Andrews and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Temille keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Zane with a hook.
Temille slips a jab and a cross from Zane.
Zane has closed the distance and engaged Temille in a clinch.
Temille fails to pull guard.
Zane jumps into guard, dragging Temille to the mat.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Zane lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Temille circles away quickly and effectively.
Zane moves forwards but Temille connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Zane throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bryan Zane is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Zane swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Temille keeps the fight on the outside.
Zane misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Temille.
Temille tries to clinch but Zane is having none of it.

and Temille counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Zane's guard now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Temille stops Zane from getting back to his feet.
Zane wants to stand back up but Temille manages to pass into side control.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Zane pushes Temille away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Temille gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

A close round but Bryan Zane will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Temille throws a combination that misses
and Temille takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Joseph Temille is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Zane throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Zane just misses with a punch to the body.

Zane wants to lay and pray for a moment but Temille keeps working.

Zane is taking a breather. Temille says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Zane must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Temille is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Zane defends well.
Zane slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Despite being in the dominant position, Bryan Zane just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Temille counters with a takedown into side control.

Temille tries to advance to mount but can't.
Zane tries to escape but Temille is in control.
Zane struggling a bit here.
Zane might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Temille kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Bryan Zane showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zane throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Zane wants to control but Temille is having none of it.

Temille cracks Zane with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Temille avoids the attempt from Zane to control.
Zane is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Joseph Temille.
I think Zane has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
