Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Tegla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jr Seau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jr Seau told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jr Seau!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seau swinging wilding here.
Seau scores with a one two! Tegla had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Tegla dives in and grabs Seau's left leg, looking for a takedown. Seau pushes down on Tegla's head and hops out.
Tegla will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Tegla shoots in for a takedown but Seau shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Tegla. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tegla is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Seau.

It looks like Ivan Tegla has been cut.

Tegla throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Seau's waist but Seau gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tegla off to one side.
Tegla looks for a takedown but Seau sprawls well.
Tegla fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Seau drops Tegla with a left right combo! Seau follows him down to the ground into side control.

Tegla is rocked!
Tegla is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Seau stands up.
Oh Tegla is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Seau lands with a big right hook that stumbles Tegla - he's out on his feet here! Seau follows up with another monster hook that separates Tegla from consciousness! Tegla falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Seau stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
