Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Randy Rage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Rage checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Rage closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Griffin did well to prevent Rage getting side control.
Rage is stalling here. Griffin is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Rage seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Griffin has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Rage is trying to get back to half guard.
Rage is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Rage is pressing down on Griffin's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Rage is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Griffin pushes Rage off looking to stand but Rage dives back in and keeps control.
Griffin is looking to get back to is feet but Rage passes into side control.
Rage has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Griffin!

Rage looking to finish Griffin with some ground and pound. This is bad for Griffin!
Rage takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Griffin defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Rage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rage has isolated one of Griffin's arms. Griffin looking to fight him off but Rage twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
