The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romo stuffs the takedown.
Vaughn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Romo checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Vaughn bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Romo dips to his left and cracks Vaughn with an uppercut!
Vaughn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Romo pinned against the cage. Romo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Romo connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Romo jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Vaughn tries a head kick but it misses.
Vaughn will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Rolls Romo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Victor Vaughn.
Romo thuds a left hand into Vaughn's body.
Vaughn looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vaughn is looking to clinch.

Vaughn takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Romo connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Vaughn to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Romo!
