Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between C S Kitiona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Rios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rios has chosen Their Law as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rios rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kitiona moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A head kick misses from Rios.
Kitiona fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rios avoids it really well and circles away.
Rios scores with a jab. Kitiona acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

It looks like C S Kitiona has been cut.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

You can see the frustration on Kitiona's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Rios escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kitiona gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Kitiona shoots for a double leg takedown but Rios sprawls well. He's pushed Kitiona's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
