The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoover wants to clinch.
Hoover is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hoover throws a head kick but Goldberg moves out of range.
Goldberg throws a big shot that misses.
Hoover tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Goldberg paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Horrible takedown by Hoover or perhaps it was just good defense by Goldberg which made him look bad.
Hoover doesn't manage to clinch there - Goldberg circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Goldberg shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hoover's guard.

Hoover is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Goldberg is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
