The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Guerra gets the takedown into side control.
Gracie looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Guerra tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Guerra has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Gracie avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Guerra.

Guerra tries for a kimura but Gracie is defending well.
Guerra has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Guerra connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Gracie some visible discomfort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Guerra stands up and beckons Gracie to his feet.

Gracie swats away the attempt to clinch by Guerra.

Guerra fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gracie sprawls well initially but Guerra persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
