Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Reige Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nag Yurai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hughes's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sandstorm. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes slips a jab and a cross from Yurai.
Hughes stuffs the takedown attempt from Yurai. Yurai gets slowly back to his feet.
Yurai tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hughes sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Yurai somewhat.
A slow jab from Hughes misses its intended target.
Yurai throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Yurai is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Hughes swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Yurai counters with a three punch combo that has Hughes backing up. Hughes nods at Yurai to acknowledge the strikes.
Yurai shoots for a takedown but Hughes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Reige Hughes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nag Yurai.

Oooh a lovely combination from Hughes sends Yurai down but not out. Hughes dives into side control looking to finish.
