The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mizakota finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Spencer lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Spencer feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mizakota's calf.

Spencer feints and then cracks Mizakota's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mizakota down.

Spencer lands a really nice looking cross but Mizakota seems unphased.
Spencer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mizakota.

Spencer buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A punch lands to the side of Mizakota 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Mizakota looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Spencer!

Mizakota throws some wild stikes that Spencer manages to avoid easily.
Mizakota throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Mizakota wants to take Spencer's back here but Spencer is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Spencer bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Mizakota has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Mizakota is looking to sinch up a triangle. Spencer throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Mizakota's body to avoid the submission. Mizakota has instead reached around Spencer's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Mizakota arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
