Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alessio Fuschini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Graham Wellington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wellington has chosen Scary as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuschini throws a hook but Wellington blocks it.
Fuschini checks a low kick from Wellington.
Wellington throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wellington moves out of range of the body kick.
Fuschini moves away from the strike by Wellington.
Wellington tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Fuschini is able to avoid easily.
Wellington misses with a few strikes there.
Fuschini lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nice combo by Fuschini! Oh, that's hurt him - Wellington falls to the canvas and Fuschini follows him into side control.

It looks like Graham Wellington has been cut.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wellington can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters are battling for position here. Wellington manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Wellington wants to sweep but no luck.
