PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dan Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximus Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quinn shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hammer but Hammer pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Quinn is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hammer's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hammer's back!

Quinn is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Hammer is defending well though. Quinn let's go of the attempt for now.
Hammer tries to escape but Quinn has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Quinn fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Quinn avoids the attempt from Hammer to control.

Hammer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Quinn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Quinn is breathing heavily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Quinn has the hooks in. Hammer is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Quinn has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Hammer has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
I really don't envy Hammer right now.

Hammer just trying to survive but Quinn is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Quinn working for a choke but Hammer reverses nicely into Quinn 's guard.
Hammer slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Hammer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Quinn swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Hammer counters with a shoot takedown. Quinn fights it but they end up in guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Quinn manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Quinn throwing strikes here but Hammer is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Quinn cracks Hammer with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Quinn throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Hammer has his hands clasped together but Quinn breaks the hold and Hammer is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Quinn!
