Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anton Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Edgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Anton Silva has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Anton Silva seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edgar scores with a jab to the head.
Silva shoots in but no luck this time.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Edgar sprawls well. Edgar wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
Edgar lands with a kick to the ribs.

Silva is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Silva manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Edgar manages to get himself to full guard.
Edgar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Edgar can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Silva controls the pace.

Edgar has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Silva is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Edgar.
