Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aydine Antona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Uri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Antona's entrance music is Stemm - Face the pain. A fine choice. Aydine Antona could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sam Uri's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Aydine Antona! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sam Uri! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Antona misses with a takedown attempt - Uri sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Antona shoots in for a double leg but Uri sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Antona closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Uri to the mat! Uri manages to get full guard. Antona throwing strikes but missing. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Uri is trying to control the position but Antona postures up. Uri is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Uri is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Antona throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Uri is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Antona is just riding it out for now. Uri eventually gives up the hold. Antona gets back to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Antona looking to hit a scissor sweep but Uri is one step ahead there. Antona working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Uri doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Uri manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Antona escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Uri gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Uri forces his way into half guard. Uri seems to be looking for submissions.
Uri wants to pass the guard but Antona is defending well. Uri is taking a breather. Antona says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Antona is staying active underneath Uri, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Antona tries to roll over but Uri keeps him under control. Antona actively working from the bottom here. Antona is breathing heavily. Uri wants to work for an arm triangle but Antona is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Uri is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Antona doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Uri. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Antona is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Uri pulls his head out easily. Uri is trying to work for a kimura but Antona is defending well.

Uri wants to control from the top but Antona keeps moving. Uri is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Antona is on top in guard.

Antona is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Antona wants to free his trapped foot but Uri is holding on for dear life with his legs. Uri is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Antona pulls his head out easily. Uri is looking to control Antona's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Uri avoid being mounted? Uri looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Antona is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Uri! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Aydine Antona will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Antona fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Uri sprawls well initially but Antona persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Antona works his way into side control. Uri regains half guard. Antona seems to be looking for submissions.
Antona trying to pass the guard but Uri defending well. Uri blocking the ground and pound attempt from Antona. Antona is thwarting Uri's attempts to control the position. Uri gets back to full guard.
Antona trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Uri lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Antona! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Antona is looking to get to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Antona is working hard here to advance position. Uri trying to control but Antona is having none of it. Uri looking to secure an arm triangle but Antona defends it well. Antona is looking to improve his position but Uri isn't that keen on the idea. Uri wants to control the pace but Antona is squirming around nicely.

It's a bit of a token attempt though and Antona regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Antona is looking to get to half guard. Uri is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Antona can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Antona looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Antona is looking for a sweep. Uri is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Antona looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Uri maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Antona could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Uri has cracked it and Antona is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Uri!
