Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Boo Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tony Stewart!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jonathan Paton and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stewart sprawls well. Stewart wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Coleman gets slowly back to his feet.
Tony Stewart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Coleman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stewart pinned against the cage. Stewart gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Stewart is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Coleman shoots for a takedown but Stewart saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Coleman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Stewart to the mat! Stewart manages to get full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stewart cracks Coleman with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Coleman counters with a nice double leg into side control. Stewart won't be happy with that.
Stewart parries the strikes from Coleman easily there. Coleman is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Stewart to escape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Stewart rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Coleman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Stewart scores with a one two! Coleman had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Stewart has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Stewart throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Coleman.

Coleman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Stewart with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
