Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rich Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dixon Ermouth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown slips a jab from Ermouth.
Ermouth just misses with a punch to the body.

Brown has gone for a leg lock! Ermouth slips out almost immediately though and dives into Brown's guard.

Brown had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ermouth is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Brown Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ermouth's back instead.

Brown is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Ermouth defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ermouth is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Brown has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Ermouth has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Ermouth fails to land with a series of punches.

Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Brown throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ermouth's waist but Ermouth gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brown off to one side.

Dixon Ermouth showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Brown thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Brown postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Ermouth really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Brown feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
