Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wally Bautista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mariuz Podolsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wally Bautista!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mariuz Podolsky!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Roberts and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Podolsky stuffs the takedown.
Bautista shoots in looking for a takedown. Podolsky tries to sprawl out of it but Bautista keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Podolsky manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bautista tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Podolsky paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Bautista counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Podolsky manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bautista manages to get himself to full guard.
Podolsky controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Bautista throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Bautista is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Podolsky defends well.

Podolsky drops back looking for a leg! Bautista is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bautista manages to kick Podolsky off! Podolsky jumps back into Bautista's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

so Podolsky counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mariuz Podolsky dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Podolsky takes the fight into the clinch.
Bautista jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Podolsky walks away with a smile on his face. Bautista gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Podolsky has his foot on Bautista's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bautista works his way back into a safe position though.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Podolsky bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bautista's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Podolsky gets control of Bautista's arms and successfully pulls guard. Podolsky will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Podolsky wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Bautista is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Podolsky has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Bautista is looking to defend but Podolsky has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Bautista! Podolsky pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Bautista taps out and this one is all over!
