Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Corey Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and OIiver Twist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Corey Stevenson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Corey Stevenson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stevenson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Twist!
Stevenson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Twist is in a horrible position here. Stevenson smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Twist tries to reverse the position but Stevenson maintains control.

Stevenson working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Twist is looking to improve his position but Stevenson isn't that keen on the idea.
Stevenson breaks from Twist's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Twist tries to hold on but Stevenson pushes him away.
Stevenson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Stevenson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Twist looks a forlorn figure.
