Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Asu Kotev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Davarrian Sparks!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Topper Green and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Sparks.
Sparks walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sparks. Kotev does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kotev darts in looking for a takedown but Sparks gets double underhooks and turns Kotev into the cage.
Kotev's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sparks misses with a wild body shot.
Sloppy strikes from Sparks. Those never looked like landing.
Kotev shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sparks manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Kotev is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Sparks looking to control.
Kotev gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Kotev closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sparks quickly recovers to half guard.

Kotev wants to control but Sparks is keeping him busy.
Sparks is trying to control but can't.
Kotev takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Kotev is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kotev works his way into side control.
Sparks prevents Kotev from moving into mount.
Sparks tries to bench press Kotev off him but Kotev keeps the position.

Sparks keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Sparks looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Sparks scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kotev doesn't seem bothered though.
Kotev uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sparks.
Sparks stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kotev.
Sparks throws a body shot but no joy.
Kotev digs a good body shot into Sparks's ribs.
Sparks throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kotev sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Nice uppercut there from Sparks.
A punch lands to the side of Kotev 's head but he takes it in his stride.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sparks throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sparks misses the shot to the body.

Sparks's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kotev under the eye.
Kotev pushes Sparks away with a front kick.
Kotev takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Sparks scores with a body shot.
Sparks throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kotev uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sparks.
Sparks jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kotev goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Kotev is breathing heavily.
Kotev takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Kotev takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kotev blocks a jab.
Sparks connects with a single shot there.
Davarrian Sparks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kotev walks into a stiff left hand from Sparks.
Kotev is rocked!
Sparks scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Oh Kotev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kotev leaves his chin hanging out and Sparks seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Kotev crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
