Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matthew Murray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nakachi Tadageru!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tadageru wants to clinch.
Tadageru has closed the distance and engaged Murray in a clinch.
Tadageru has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Murray after a bit of a struggle.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tadageru is working for takedown but Murray is calmly controlling the position for now.
Murray scores with a nice hook to the head.
Murray lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Tadageru changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Murray fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Matthew Murray has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nakachi Tadageru.
Tadageru has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Murray.

Tadageru fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tadageru walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Murray cracks Tadageru with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Tadageru looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Murray finish him?

Tadageru moves in looking to clinch but Murray pushes him off.
Tadageru is still on wobbly legs! Can Murray finish him?
Tadageru bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Murray comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Tadageru falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Tadageru was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Matthew Murray!
Matthew Murray decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
