Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Essien Ekuoba (ranked 151 p4p, 51 weight class) and Danyaal Zahedi (ranked 19 p4p, 4 weight class). Ekuoba comes to the cage accompanied by Pure Water. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ekuoba sends Zahedi crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Ekuoba is motioning to the referee to let Zahedi up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Ekuoba has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Lotus Dojo in the buildup to the fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ekuoba is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Zahedi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ekuoba throws out the jab.

and Ekuoba counters with a huge left! Zahedi is in big trouble! He's backing up but Ekuoba isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Zahedi from any more damage. A dominating finish by Ekuoba!
