Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bronze Bomber Chai (ranked 83 p4p, 150 weight class) and Ryu Inhanamoto (ranked 12 p4p, 18 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bronze Bomber Chai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryu Inhanamoto!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inhanamoto keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Inhanamoto steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Chai lands with a nice combination. Inhanamoto backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Ryu Inhanamoto has been cut.
Chai tries to work over Inhanamoto's front leg with a kick but Inhanamoto checks it.
Chai lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Inhanamoto - that will leave a mark!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Inhanamoto throws a low kick but it's checked well by Chai.
Inhanamoto goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Inhanamoto ducks under a wild hook from Chai.
Chai tried to score with a low kick but Inhanamoto checks it.
Inhanamoto throws the kick towards the body but Chai avoids it.
It looked like Chai was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Inhanamoto.

and Inhanamoto counters with an outside leg kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Chai.
Chai takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Inhanamoto throws a half hearted mid kick.
Chai swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Inhanamoto misses with a body kick.
Inhanamoto slips under a jab.
Inhanamoto flicks out a counter leg kick but Chai steps away.
Inhanamoto throws a body shot but no joy.
Inhanamoto swings for the body but Chai moves out of range.
Chai throws a jab when Inhanamoto was well out of range.
Chai moves out of range of the body kick.
A shot to the liver by Inhanamoto. Beautiful body shot.

Chai tries to land a front kick but Inhanamoto steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Inhanamoto looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Chai throws a body kick that misses
and Inhanamoto counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Inhanamoto misses with a kick to the body.
Chai swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Chai crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Inhanamoto - the referee stops the clock and Chai gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Inhanamoto. Chai manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Chai is breathing heavily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Inhanamoto, as that shot connected.
Inhanamoto lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Chai throws a lazy right hand but Inhanamoto sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Both fighters circling a little - Inhanamoto finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ryu Inhanamoto dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Ryu Inhanamoto's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Chai swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Chai swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Inhanamoto lands a leg kick that knocks Chai off balance momentarily.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Inhanamoto.
