Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Snake (ranked 24229 p4p, 2194 weight class) and Antti Kokko (ranked 430 p4p, 257 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Snake! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antti Kokko! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kokko throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Snake drops down looking for a counter takedown but Kokko sprawls and moves away. No joy there for Kokko, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Snake tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Kokko manages to circle out of the way. Kokko misses with a two punch combination.
Kokko shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Kokko lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Kokko slaps away a takedown attempt from Snake, before circling back to the center of the mat. Kokko throws a counter combo. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Snake wants to clinch and Kokko counters with a left and a right that stings Snake.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kokko throws a wild body kick that Snake sees coming a mile off. Snake is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Kokko. Kokko throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kokko throws a nice looking combination but Snake bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kokko throws a series of punches but Snake moves out of range. Kokko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Snake moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Snake dodges the punch combination from Kokko.
Kokko throws a right hand that Snake ducks under and follows up with a left that Snake also avoids with ease. Snake showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kokko.
Kokko looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Kokko moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Kokko misses with a series of wild punches.
Kokko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Snake.
Snake is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kokko's half guard.
Kokko manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Snake keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Snake prevents Kokko from breaking the clinch. Kokko has a couple of punches blocked by Snake.

Snake is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kokko pulls him back up using the underhooks. Snake blocking some punches.
Kokko lands with a short head shot on the inside. A head punch on the inside from Kokko fails to land. Kokko wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Kokko misses with a hook from the clinch. Kokko has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Kokko misses with a short punch on the inside. Kokko is trying to break the clinch but Snake has him pressed against the cage. Kokko working aggressively here.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Snake takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Kokko misses with some punches.

Antti Kokko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kokko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Snake. Kokko displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Snake.

Snake is looking for a kimura but Kokko is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Snake to get the leverage. Kokko tries to get to full guard but Snake has control of the leg. Kokko holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Kokko tries to roll over but Snake keeps him under control. Kokko is looking to control Snake's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kokko avoid being mounted? It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Snake wants to control but Kokko is keeping him busy.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. A combination from Kokko does no damage.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kokko throws a nice looking combination but Snake bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Snake moves out of range as Kokko strikes. Antti Kokko seems to be getting the better of the standup. Kokko slaps away a takedown attempt from Snake, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Snake. That's going to take a lot out of him. Snake shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kokko as he jumps to the side. Snake slips a jab from Kokko. Snake wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kokko throws a right hand that Snake ducks under and follows up with a left that Snake also avoids with ease. Kokko throws a shot from downtown. Snake moves away and avoids it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Antti Kokko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Snake's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Snake drives through with a takedown into Kokko's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. John Snake has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Snake throws a strike but Kokko rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Snake working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kokko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kokko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Snake looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kokko is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Snake is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Snake had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kokko defends it easily.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Snake looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kokko controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Kokko pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Snake is keeping the position for now. John Snake overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Kokko works a leg free and moves into half guard. Kokko wants to control but Snake is keeping him busy. Kokko is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Snake manages to get to full guard. Kokko wants to get up but he can't break Snake's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Kokko trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. A combination from Kokko does no damage. Snake attempts a counter takedown but Kokko avoids it well and moves away. No luck for Snake with that takedown attempt.

As Kokko tries to get set, Snake tries to push him back and clinch up but Kokko manages to avoid the attempt. Kokko looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A combination from Kokko does no damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Snake's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Snake duly obliges.
 It looks like Antti Kokko has been cut. Snake misses with a low kick. Kokko throws a counter combo.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John Snake. I think Kokko has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
