And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lemuel Denver!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonelli throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bonelli throws a big shot that misses.
Denver tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Bonelli throws a leg kick
and Denver decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bonelli's guard.
Bonelli has his hands on Denver's head, controlling the position.
Denver trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Denver is fighting to break Bonelli's control of his arms but Bonelli is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bonelli is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Bonelli wants to free his trapped foot but Denver is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Denver is looking for a sweep. Bonelli is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Bonelli tries to stand but can't do so whilst Denver controls his leg.
Denver is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bonelli pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bonelli prevents Denver from improving his position.
Bonelli wants to stand up but Denver has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Denver is looking for a sweep. Bonelli is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Bonelli decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Denver shoots in looking for a takedown but Bonelli manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Denver's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bonelli loads up on a big right hand but Denver slips the punch.
Denver is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Bonelli is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Denver.

Denver tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Bonelli counters with a leg kick.
Tyson Bonelli is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A swing and a miss from Bonelli.
Bonelli moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bonelli. Denver does a little dance to reset his feet.
Denver gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Bonelli breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bonelli attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

and Denver counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Bonelli manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Denver manages to get himself to full guard.
Denver is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Bonelli has his hands clasped together but Denver extends and breaks Bonelli's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Denver.
