Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Time To Fight Wright (ranked 67 p4p, 304 weight class) and Jonas Karlsson (ranked 10 p4p, 44 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 22 - 0, fighting out of London, Time To Fight Wright!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jonas Karlsson!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the body from Karlsson misses
and Wright counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Karlsson throws a poor cross that misses
and Wright connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Jonas Karlsson has been cut.
Wright pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Wright doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Wright throws a hook but Karlsson blocks it.
Karlsson misses with a jab to the body
and Wright counters with a nice uppercut.
Wright looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Wright staying out of range there.
Wright feinted with a counter takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A jab from Karlsson does it's job there.
Karlsson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wright moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wright misses with a hook
and Karlsson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Karlsson's corner calls for a 1-2. Karlsson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Wright misses with a hook. Karlsson ducked under it nicely.

and Wright counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Wright.

Wright is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Karlsson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Karlsson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Wright seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Karlsson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Karlsson wants to improve his position but Wright is controlling well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Karlsson tries to improve his position but Wright has taken his back! Wright has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Karlsson tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Wright pushes Karlsson away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
