Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dakota Reis (ranked 389 p4p, 344 weight class) and Von Kaiser (ranked 50 p4p, 44 weight class). Reis's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Cree Prayer Song - Young Spirit. Kaiser has chosen Punch Out Theme as his entrance music. Von Kaiser is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Dakota Reis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Von Kaiser!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaiser goes for a double leg but Reis avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Reis continues to drive forward.
An attempted straight right counter from Reis misses the target.
Reis has been working on his boxing with his coaches at League of Shadows MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Reis buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Reis lands a glancing blow to the side of Kaiser's head.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kaiser has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Kaiser fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Reis manages to avoid it.
Kaiser takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Kaiser has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Reis.

Reis throws the kick towards the body but Kaiser avoids it.
Reis throws a looping overhand right but Kaiser ducks down to avoid it.
Kaiser dives in for a single leg takedown but Reis sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Kaiser shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Reis sprawls well. Reis wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kaiser gets slowly back to his feet.

Kaiser chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Reis can pounce on him.

and Kaiser decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Reis's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kaiser is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Kaiser is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kaiser accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kaiser bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Reis's guard.
