Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daisuke Marufuji!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marufuji slips under a jab from Rand.
Nice takedown defense from Rand. No joy for Marufuji on that attempt.
Marufuji ducks under a wild hook from Rand.
Marufuji moves away from the strike by Rand.
Daniel Rand seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marufuji shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rand but Rand pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rand misses with a hook. Marufuji ducked under it nicely.
Rand scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
It looks like Daisuke Marufuji has been cut.
Marufuji shoots for a takedown but Rand saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Daniel Rand has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daisuke Marufuji.
Rand scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

The fighters circle momentarily. Rand darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Rand misses with a hook. Marufuji ducked under it nicely.
Rand connects with a body shot.

Rand throws an overhand right that lands on Marufuji's shoulder, as Marufuji tries to avoid the shot.
Rand throws out a loose jab but Marufuji uses good head movement to avoid it.
Marufuji moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Rand throws a big shot that misses.
Rand ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Marufuji's jaw. Marufuji's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Rand does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Daniel Rand!
